Quality & Safety Graphics

A co-worker of mine came to me to develop a set of graphics that will go along with posts about Quality & Safety in our Pet Food business.

The first task that I had was to create a logo and a visual for the project. We decided to keep the name "Quality & Safety" for the set of posts for this.

The below image has the logo and photo design we decided on using. It contains a transparent to white vertical gradient on the image with the logo on the bottom left or right depending on which works best with the image.

It is a simple design that can easily be replicated within the graphic and visual aspect of the project.

The beginning of this project simply started with the logo and the simple title "Quality and Safety". In trying to think of how this could be made into a logo, I decided to change the "and" to an ampersand. We originally wanted to somehow incorporate a clipboard with checkmarks on it. After playing around with the words, I came to the idea of incorporating the checkmark directly into the ampersand. Thus, ending with the logo that we have now without the clipboard that was on the left of the approved logo.

This was a fun little project that will be fun to see being used in the posts in the near future in our Simmons Pet Food business sector!
